This is a typical vibrant township experience outside the City of Cape Town with an eye for the future. The tour include a visit to business hub also known as the Lookout-Hill, guided walk though community radio station, a visit to a local coffee shop and open market around the train station.
Description
Go on a 2 ½ hours guided walk accompanied by a professional guide through the dusty streets of Khayelitsha. From learning the local language, interact with the locals, visit family homes, local projects, small businesses and for unique memories attractions in the area are worth taking pictures. The tour also offers an opportunity to try local cuisine in the form of tshisa-nyama (barbeque braai), umqusho (samp), umleqwa (free-range chicken), hot-maize (pap & chakalaka). The tour is design to take you to places where people’s activities are displayed with a clear picture of day to day life experience.
